Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Scrolane (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Adconcept OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is the honest thing to do.
1. Who you are to us
Scrolane does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account identified by a random code. That code lets your reading progress, saved cards, and subscription follow you across sessions and devices, but it is not linked to your real-world identity.
2. What we collect
- Learning activity — which cards you read, how far you read, answers to comprehension questions, minutes spent reading, and course progress. This powers your personalized feed and your Curiosity Map.
- Content you create — cards you bookmark and notes you write.
- Preferences — the topics and difficulty you choose, your weekly goal, appearance theme, and app language.
- Issue reports — when you report a problem with a card, we store the reason and any note you add so we can review and regenerate the card.
- Subscription information — whether you have an active trial or subscription, and purchase records needed to provide and restore access. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
- Product analytics — anonymous, aggregated signals about how the app is used (screens opened, taps, onboarding drop-off, trial and subscription events) to understand what works and improve it.
- Crash and performance diagnostics — technical reports if the app crashes or misbehaves, so we can fix problems.
- Marketing attribution — if you installed Scrolane after tapping one of our ads, which campaign and search term brought you in, to measure our advertising. This uses Apple’s own attribution system and does not identify you personally.
- Tracking choice — your response to the App Tracking Transparency prompt, so we do not ask again.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show advertising inside the app.
- We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Our analytics are tied only to your anonymous account and are used solely to run and improve Scrolane.
4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers strictly to run the service:
- Supabase — secure hosting and storage of the data above, in the European Union.
- Adapty — subscription management and receipt validation.
- Apple — App Store purchases and subscription billing.
- Mixpanel — product analytics, with data stored in the European Union.
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics) — crash and diagnostic reporting; some diagnostic data is processed on Google’s servers in the United States.
- Apple Search Ads — measuring which ad or search term led to an install (attribution).
These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own data-protection obligations.
5. Why we are allowed to use your data
We process your data to provide the service you asked for (showing and personalizing content, managing your subscription and daily limits) and, where relevant, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the content accurate and the app working well. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time.
6. Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or a region with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
Because accounts are anonymous, the simplest way to exercise these rights — including deleting everything we hold about you — is to email us at m.petrov@appflow.click. We will action verified requests within 30 days. Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription, which stays with your Apple ID; you can manage it in your Apple ID settings.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is in use. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our systems. Some records (for example, a purchase receipt) may be retained where the law requires.
8. Children
Scrolane is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by local law.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected before they take effect.
